FloatCheck is a free, independent student-built tool. This notice explains plainly what happens to your data.
Your uploaded P6 (.xer) file is read and processed entirely in your own browser. It is never uploaded to any server, and we never see it.
If you use an AI-powered feature (Progress Report Narrative, Full Report), a summary of the calculated results — not your raw file — is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate the written explanation. This includes things like activity codes, dates, float values, and any Notebook text you're asking it to summarise. Anthropic's own privacy policy governs how they handle that request: anthropic.com/legal/privacy.
If you do not use an AI feature, nothing about your project ever leaves your browser.
We don't sell data. We don't share your project information with third parties beyond what's described above. We don't use your data to train any AI model.
This tool is provided as-is, for informational and portfolio purposes. Always review AI-generated content before issuing it externally, and verify any contractual, EOT, or delay-claim commentary independently — this is not a substitute for professional judgement or legal advice.
